Trellis 2020
90 POINTS, JAMES SUCKLING
Tasting notes
Wine
Black cherries and plums dominate the aroma and the flavor profiles, assisted by a smooth palate and a hint of licorice on the finish. Mouth filling fruit flavors and supple tannins are nicely integrated into the wine giving it good structure and texture. The fruit flavors linger well beyond the last swallow.

Production notes
Production
The 2020 growing season provided us with an abundance of sunshine coupled with a small amount of rain. This allowed for good, clean, fully ripe, and flavorful fruit to be delivered to the cellar. As is usually the case, the Merlot was the first red variety ready to pick: the various clones and vineyard blocks were brought in between September 19th and 25th. The Malbec was harvested on September 28, the Cabernet Franc, between September 28th and October 9, and the Petit Verdot on October 7th.
