Tasting notes
Wine
Rich and complex with a deep garnet hue, this wine is indicative of the excellent vintage that brought beautiful, concentrated fruit to the winery. Begins with dark cherry and black plum aromas which contribute to the flavors and a supple mouthfeel. It finishes with a lingering note of tobacco, cranberry and cinnamon. This wine will continue to improve with age.

"The best of the 2021 Bordeaux-style blends from Boxwood, this estate-grown wine is well balanced, laced with fine-grained tannins and braced by good acicty. Red and black cherries, hints of cloves, toast and cedar give good complexity. Meadium-bodies. 42% merlot, 24% cabernet sauvignon, 21% cabernet franc and 13% petit verdot. Drink or hold."
